The MOST LIKELY to be JACK THE RIPPER !

Jack The Ripper was the name given to a serial killer active in the Whitechapel area of London in the later half of 1888.The name was taken from a letter sent to the Central News Agency by someone who claimed to be the murderer.The letter was later published in the newspapers during the same time period.

The Ripper's Victims were women earning income as  prostitutes. Most of the Ripper murders were  in a public or semi-public place which the victim's throat was cut, after which the body was mutilated. Some believe that the victims were first strangled in order to silence them. The removal of internal organs from some victims has led to the proposal that the killer possessed anatomical or surgical knowledge or skill. 

BUT

Who is JACK THE RIPPER ?

In my opinion, the most likely to be Jack The Ripper is...

  (Dr. Thomas Neill Cream)

1) He was a doctor secretly specializing in abortions. 

ARGUMENT

• Dr. Thomas has the particular skill in the human structure as the Chapman’s body was found without her uterus and her face was mutilated by the murder. 

SUB-ARGUMENT

• Dr. Thomas is the most likely suspect because as a doctor, he knew every part of human body especially about women reproductive system.

2) He bribed the officer to leave the prison earlier before his official release.

ARGUMENT

• Dr. Thomas bribed the prison officer to release him before the exact release day.

SUB-ARGUMENT

• That's mean he was still free and has a time to do the murder. Even though he is in the prison, but that place was look alike his place which equipped with surgery tools.

3) He resumed killing again and was soon arrested.

ARGUMENT

• Dr. Thomas has the bad history due to the murder of his mistress’s husband but he was released on good behavior on 31 July 1891. 

SUB-ARGUMENT

• Again after his released, he was found guilty in murder case in London and he was sentenced hanged until death on 15 November 1892. After the year, there is no more murder cases that reported.

The 4 Articles .

Who are the four of them ?  They are the writer's of this 4 articles which is The Degree of Happiness by Betrand Russell , Thinking Folly by Eckhart Tolle , Men and Women are merely Players by Robert Greene and last but not least The Jews and their Deceits by Adolf Hitler. 

Basically , this is my first assignment for this Critical Literacy subject. I like to read all the 4 articles wrote by the writer's. However, in the same time the articles make my mind become critical to think whether i am supporting the articles or against the articles. The words used by the writer's are quite hard to understand. Plus , i have to take such a long hours to truly understand about the articles as every single words is important for me. In other word, this 4 articles are making my mind become CRITICAL ! :)

Plan 9 from Outer Space ( Review ) !

Recently , Sir Kamaraziz had given us a chanced to watch the movie directed by Edward D. Wood Jr.'s that is Plan 9 from Outer Space. It is a science fiction / horror film which had been produced in 1959. The actors are Gregory Walcott, Mona McKinnon, Tor Johnson and Maila "Vampir" Nurmi. As we all know, Plan 9 from Outer Space is the worse movie ever made. Plus, the director for this film which is Ed D. Wood Jr.'s is the worse director also. 

When I found out about this movie , it makes me feel eagerly to watch this movie. But, what can I say about this movie is, it is actually not that bad because it got spirit. It is not like it was made strictly for profit or anything. Ed Wood just was not good at making movies.

Thus, the plot is a bunch of people are living normal lives when suddenly Earth is attacked by aliens. It is a very nice plot I think. The special effects, backgrounds, and the editing was good.   Most of the scene was done in the studio which is the budget is not much use. However, when the scene near to the end, the movie is become bored and it makes me fall asleep. Here , I also  includes some of the scene in this movie. Enjoy !!!

Critical Thinking On SUPERSTITION !

What is SUPERSTITION ? Superstition is anything that people believe that is based on myth, magic or irrational thoughts. They are beliefs that are steeped in lore or tradition, and it is usually difficult to pinpoint the exact origin. Most superstitions start in fact, and then become distorted over years and years of use. Others formed from religious beliefs.

( Do not cut your nails at night )

RIGHT BRAIN 

• The superstition can be accepted because the previous years ago, most of the house used the oil lamp as not all them afford to pay for the electricity bill.

•   The superstition is logic because the nail clippers long time before was not the same as now and they might use any sharpen things to cut their nail such as scissors and knife.

•   The superstition is suitable nowadays because the electricity might be black out due to the technical problem and it might hurt ourselves.

LEFT BRAIN 

•  The superstition did not relevant as there is no specific research that prove cut the nails during midnight will bring harm to anybody.

• The superstition is nonsense because it encourage people to waste their time by doing nothing.

• The superstition is not logic because it will contribute to many diseases because to unhygienic people. 

( Rain on your wedding day is a good omen )

RIGHT BRAIN

• This superstition can be accepted because the blissful raining make your wedding last forever just like crops always need water to grow itself.

• The superstition is logic because every people will enjoy themselves as the weather during raining is cold and convenient.

• The superstition can be considered because the guesses in the ceremony will be more polite to each other as they needs to stay under one tents to avoid from wet.

LEFT BRAIN

• The superstition did not logic as we cannot predict the happiness of the marriage only by the rains during the wedding day.

• The superstition cannot be accepted because nowadays majority of the wedding couple prefer to do their receptions in hotel or public hall.

• The superstition is nonsense because flood can be occurred during the raining season.

EUREKA !

       I do have a lots of friends. For me , friends are everything. They are the place where I can share my problems together, hang out together, gossiping or doing our hobbies together. However, to find a true friends is not easy. Maybe they just pretending to be nice in front of us and at the same time, they talk bad behind us. Normally , friends only can be beside us during our glad time and not during our hardship time. That is why not our best friends can be our best friend forever.

     This story was happened to me in my previous semester. My room mates were my best friend. Therefore , we agree to stay in the same room which consists of 6 members.We do not have a problem at all. We always spend time together, sharing problems together, playing games together and sometimes we go for outing together. I feel comfortable with them because we are not only close in the room but also in the class . This make our relationship become more closer.

     When we enter for the next semester, the assignment will be more complicated and sometimes it is hard to complete it on time. Usually , we will get our assignment in the middle of the month. So that , we got so much time to prepared for our assignment before the examinations started. But , I admit that I am the person who love to do the last minute assignment even though there was so much time to completed it. 

     The problem occur when we received our last assignment. The assignment has to do in groups. So , I decided to do with my room mates so that it is easy for us to completed the task. However , they seem like do not care about the assignment until the end of the due date. On the night, I was so excited to do the assignment so I waited for them. But , they keep delaying by giving thousands of reason. I got frustrated and I go to my friends room and tell her about my worries. I was so relieved because she was a good counselor and she give me lots of advices. 

     On the night, my room mates and I had a big fight. I was so confused because how did she know about the unsatisfied thing I have for them. I suspecting my counselor friend has told them. My friends and I face to face to discussed the matter. Suddenly, one of my friends mentioned the name who told them about this. To my horror, it is my counselor friend. At that time, only GOD knows how I felt. On the next day , I sat next to her in the class. Her face expressions was innocent. So, I tell her about the fight last night. She looks so surprised. I want the confirmation either is she the one who told the story to my friend. At first, she was avoiding to answer my question but I keep forcing her until she admit it. She seeks for my forgiveness but on that time I do not feel like to forgive her. 

     Now, as time goes on my anger become lesser and lesser towards her. I am back with my old room mates and I forgive her for her attitude. EUREKA !!! It's her !
